One-to-one Lessons:
We use high quality electronic drum kits.
In these lessons we focus on two main areas.
Interpretation - Playing to recorded pop/rock music, learning grooves and fills, developing the ability to skilfully play with other musicians - Band etc.
Notation - We use the highly regarded Rockschool syllabus. Learning notated music and progressively going through the drum grades, ultimately up to grade 8. Students with kits at home are able to practice at home with our guidance. However there is no obligation to have your own kit at home

Here we offer the same service as the above One-to-one lesson with the ability to work with two students at one time, each student using a dedicated drum kit. Through using our high quality headphones the student will only hear themselves and our instruction so there's no disruption from the other shared drummer. We can teach each student at different levels here so there's no need for students to learn at the same pace or be the same age. We can pair up student for you accordingly. So there's no need for you to find a partner.
Inspire Drums teachers are highly experienced dedicated drummers. We do it "for real" playing and gigging in bands around the country. We are all proficient teachers and are trained/qualified to teach from the Rockschool syllabus, from beginner up to grade 8! This puts us ahead when it comes to passing on our knowledge, experiences, and skill.
We are also specialists in working with children and adults with autism and a range of disabilities and limitations.
All our teachers hold Full DBS certification and have up to date safeguarding training.
